Meet our team
Patrick is the CEO of Newland Estates International Ltd. He is a proven property professional, who has successfully established, developed, managed, and sold property and property companies throughout UK, Europe & Africa.
Patrick began his career in 1992 at DTZ London focussing on retail valuation and agency. In 1996 he moved to Budapest to establish and lead the JLL retail advisory team for CEE. From 1998-2001 he joined the Ofer Brothers Group as a senior member of the CEE management team and a board member. He was responsible for the development and implementation of the corporate strategy growing their portfolio from €25 million to €900 million. In 2001 Patrick founded Newland Estates Kft, an award-winning logistics development company responsible for developing more than 250,000m2 office and industrial properties across Europe for clients including DHL, Michelin, Mitsubishi, Geodis, Syngenta, OBI and Renault Nissan. From 2012 – 2015 he headed the fund raising and acquisition of Rendeavour Group from Renaissance Capital; on behalf of a consortium of investors. The principal assets comprised approximately 5,000 hectares of urban land across West Africa and resulted in a seven times equity multiple for the seed investors. In 2016 he returned to CEE and established APFE, a Dutch domiciled holding company, on behalf of South African Institutional investors, acquiring long income, net-leased property portfolio in Austria, Poland, and Slovakia. APFE was successfully sold to a Canadian pension fund in November 2021. Patrick has since been contracted in association with Newland Estates as chief development officer for Emonika – a 99,000 m2 GLA mixed-use complex on two adjacent sites located in the heart of Ljubljana. Emonika is a 100% subsidiary of the OTP Bank and during his time Emonika received building permits in Dec 2023.
Patrick is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. He studied estate management and graduated from the University of Heriot-Watt, Edinburgh.
David is the co-CEO of Newland Estates International limited. He is a proven property professional with extensive experience gained in acquisition, leasing, financing, development, capital markets, asset management and fund management disciplines, with detailed knowledge of the UK and many of the main European markets in both the core and alternative real estate sectors.
David began his career in 1992 at Strutt & Parker in London focusing on West End office leasing, capital markets and development. In 1997 he moved to the recently established London office of the New York headquartered office owner and developer, Tishman Speyer. He led the acquisition of the first UK assets, including the development of a 35,000m² office development in the heart of the City of London, the UK’s main financial district. He established and opened the Madrid office and was responsible for the development of a 25,000m² business park development to the northwest of Madrid’s CBD. He was European head of asset management managing AUM of in excess of €3 billion. In 2003, he moved to Arcapita in London, a Bahraini based private equity business, where he was responsible for growing the European multi sector asset base, including logistics, residential, self-storage, and senior living. This included acquiring a logistics developer in Eastern Europe and building and managing a logistics fund with AUM of in excess of €1 billion. In 2008, David was asked to head up a new pan European venture funded by institutional Middle Eastern capital and was responsible for growing AUM under that platform to in excess of €200 million. In 2014, he moved to head up the real estate investment department of Gatehouse Bank PLC a FCA and UK regulated Bank. He sat on both the Investment Committee and Financing Committee. David was a founder partner of Falconvest in 2016, an independent real estate investment management and advisory firm with offices in London and Washington DC. Falconvest pursued investment opportunities in the United Kingdom, continental Europe and the United States and executes core, core plus, value add and development real estate strategies, with AUM of in excess of $1 billion. David has established joint ventures with a number of key UK real estate private equity firms, including Patron and Frogmore.
David is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. He studied Land and Construction Management and graduated from the University of Portsmouth. David is a member of the ULI.
Juliette is Chief Investment Officer at Newland Estates International Ltd. Her career has been grounded in economic forecasting. She worked for HSBC and was the first female to be recruited onto their international staff. While in Hong Kong she worked in corporate banking, assessing risk and building relationships with corporate clients. Juliette also worked in the dealing room, trading foreign exchange. She spent time working in Dubai as a retail customer manager managing a department of 40 staff. Amongst other things she had responsibility for ensuring adequate funds were available for customers during the gulf war. Latterly, she has spent time teaching economics and sharing her passion for the subject. Juliette has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Lancaster University. She is also Cemap qualified and has a Post Graduate qualification in Education.
She is an excellent communicator and in her spare time works for a charity helping young people with mental health issues.
Enikő is Chief Development Director for Newland Estates International Ltd. She is an experienced property professional with more than 20 years in the industry. She has successfully developed, managed, and sold more than €350 million worth of high profile projects throughout Europe.
Enikő is also an ESG specialist responsible for implementing our ESG policies and goals. She has an active interest in the business’s Environmental, Social and Governance impact, focusing on achieving competitive and financial benefits. Enikő is based in Budapest and she is a member of Newland Estates Management Board overseeing all operations.
Enikő holds a Masters’ degree in Real Estate and Environmental Engineering from the Technical University of Budapest.
